Our charity depends on a number of benefactors in order to fund the play schemes that we operate. We have been running our 100 Club now for many years and it has been an excellent way of raising funds as well as providing us with a predictable income stream, which in turn helps us to plan our activities.
All our winners are contacted by letter every quarter. If you would like to know whether you have a prize outstanding or want to see a full list of winners then please contact us.
Please note that if winning cheques are not presented within 12 months then we will assume that you do not want to take up the winnings but offer them back as a donation. We will therefore cancel the cheque with the bank.
We have recently reviewed this scheme and recognise that it is time consuming to manage and requires a lot of administration for what is now a relatively small percentage of our annual revenue. We also have some concerns that we are no longer meeting all the necessary requirements under the Gambling Act 2005.
We have therefore taken the decision to close down the Club with the final draw to take place in January 2019.
We will be writing out shortly to all contributors to explain the situation and should they no longer wish to donate then they can cancel their monthly standing orders.
