Huge impact on whole family. It is the only time when siblings can have a break from this demanding situation and choose an activity that they would like to do e.g. visiting the library. We were able to do other jobs knowing my child was having fun.
It makes a huge difference to the elder sister particularly as her birthday falls in this period. It means we can choose to do something that they wouldn't be able to whilst knowing they are having an enjoyable time. It makes a big difference to siblings.
My daughter loved to have the day to just me and her. We got to do things we normally wouldn't have and we both enjoyed time together chatting and not having to think all the time where is he, which we do all the time.
Again the scheme was well organised and run with a good range of enjoyable activities. The staff and helpers were great as always and he had a really good time. Many thanks to everyone for all your hard work.
His fourth year on the scheme. Each year he grows more confident and assured with it. He's thoroughly enjoyed each adventure as he calls them and was disappointed when it ended. He means the world to me and I wouldn't trust anyone with him lightly but I have great faith in the volunteers, their capabilities and obvious kindness and caring to all the children. Thank you so much.
