I’m sorry to announce that we are unable to run our Stockport scheme again this year. Our usual premises and transport are unfortunately not available and it’s not feasible to operate without them.

Whilst we are still hoping to run our Manchester and Trafford schemes, this is by no means certain and I won’t be able to confirm that until the week before they are scheduled to start. As such, places will be by invitation only and to previous participants. This is about managing the risk by inviting youngsters who we already know and who will not cause issues for each other.

This is so disappointing for everybody at LfA, not least because our families have been affected more than most by Covid, but matters are regrettably outside of our control.

Here you’ll find useful information about our charity, including how to apply for a place on one of our play schemes and what to do if you are interested in working for us.

We are a charity that runs play schemes for children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Condition (“ASC”). We successfully ran three schemes during the school summer holidays in 2019, looking after a total of 91 children and providing  559 day places.

We also run three separate monthly Saturday schemes as well as smaller schemes during the school Easter holidays.

For further details of our 2020 summer schemes check out the appropriate pages. Details will be updated as soon as they are known.
