Trustees

Jill Breden – BA Hons in  Social Sciences, followed by PGCE in Early Years Education, followed by PGDIP in Autism. She has worked with children on the autism spectrum for over ten years as a teacher. She has previously been a play leader on one of our schemes.

Francine Brower – Many years of working in Education, with a speciality in autism.

John Corker was for many years a senior banker with a major UK Bank. He is now self-employed consultant. He has been the chair of Trustees since 2004. He has two adult sons and the youngest has ASC.

Andrew Farley is a solicitor with over 20 years’ experience of civil litigation and has been running his own law firm for the last 9 years. He is a father of 4 children, the eldest of whom has an ASC with associated learning difficulty. Andrew has been a parent trustee since 2006.

Dr. Martin Hanbury is the Head teacher of a Special School in Salford.

Andy Pitts was until he retired the Head teacher at a specialist support primary school catering for 116 pupils of whom 52 have ASC. He has an M.Ed autism(children) from the university of Birmingham and over 25 years experience working with children and young adults with special needs.

Management Team

Mark Singleton has been the Project Manager since 2005. He works on a part time basis one day a week for Leisure for Autism. His main job was as a Corporate Banker for one of the large UK Banks until he retired in 2019.

Each of our Schemes is run by a Team Leader. These are all very experienced in working with children and young people with ASC.
